Why must I sign in to a SCBC account to use SCBC TV app?

Without signing in, you‘ll be unable to get programs updates  or choose to benefit from the personalised features that SCBC TV app offers.

We need to understand more on what people are watching to ensure we are providing something for everyone. Up until now, we could only tell how many people used SCBC TV, but having more data like age, gender and location will ensure we’re better serving all our audience.

You won’t have to sign in every time you visit SCBC TV as you should stay signed in for two years on each web browser or app. Sign in isn’t currently required to watch children’s content on the SCBC TV app or iPlayer.

Having trouble staying signed in? Check our Why do I have to sign in every time I use SCBC TV app? FAQ for advice.
